| Setting up of Properties |

The Properties page allows you to enter the information of each property managed
by the Property Management company. In EPM, “Property” is typically defined as a
premises with single or multiple Blocks/Buildings that houses multiple “Units”.
For a Property which has more than one building in it you can create it as blocks,
this allows EPM to create reports by property, in a property by blocks and in a property by Unit.
Typically, you would define your properties in groups of block
that represent the physical building in a property and
Units that are housed in the buildings.
For multiple units, it is necessary to set up the property and each unit. For
single family homes, information you will enter as a property can be carried over
into the Units window, saving you duplication of effort.

Click on the Headings(General,Others) to Expand/Collapse the Data input
fields.

| ID |
This ID will uniquely identify the Property in EPM. This ID is references when
creating Units, Lease, Transaction and other places when there is a need to
reference this property.

Enter the total area in square feet of the premises where the
property is located.

Enter the build up area in square feet of the
property.

Enter the number of Floors in the property.

Enter the date of major maintenance done on
property.

Select the Property Type from the list

| Manager |
Select the property manager for this property
from the list.

| Status |
Select the Staus for Property. It can be Active
or In-Active
|
| Other Infomation |
Enter any information about the Property
in 1000 characters for future reference.
This field can be empty.

A list of predifined utilities are shown under this
heading. Select all the
applicable checkboxes for the property and click
on the "Save" button to apply the changes.

| Block Description |
Enter the Block Name, incase the property consists of
multiple buildings. When creating Unit this
Block/Building name will referenced to
specify, in which block/building the Unit is located.
This will allow you to genrate Unit reports by Block.

To add a block enter the Name and click on "Add" button. Repeat
the process to add the Name of all the blocks.To Modify a Block Name,
Click on the Block Name in the list below to
select and after doing the required modification click on "Update" button
to apply the changes. Similarly to delete a block select the block name
and click on "Del" button to remove the Block from the Property.
